I’m reading a great book right now called Publishing 101, by Jane Friedman. She is a columnist with Publishers Weekly and writes a very useful blog at JaneFriedman.com. She’s been in publishing for 20 years, and has a lot of great advice for writers like me who are trying to juice the sales of their published works. I’ve already learned a lot from reading her blog, and I’d recommend it to all writers, regardless of where they are in the publishing process.

The book is a collection of her blog posts over the years, so if you don’t want to go trawling through the website, it might be worth buying. Not least because the Kindle edition is just $2.99. Bargain-tastic!
